Choose your fighter

The ladder

  • Ray Dominguez (Bare knuckle, The block, Eastside). On the line: Your name on the block. The bus drops you at the edge of the city. Twelve fighters, one ride, one way out. The first fight is in the street. No gloves, no ref you can trust. Tiny has run this block for years. Win, and the block learns your name.
  • Marco Bell (Boxing, The gym, after hours). On the line: A spot on the fight team. The gym has room for one more on the fight team. Two-Step has never been hit clean in sparring. The whole crew is watching. Make the team or go home.
  • Kenji Arakawa (Jiu-jitsu, The beach mats, sunset). On the line: The respect of the mats. Sunset on the beach mats. Nobody has ever stood Kenji back up. If it hits the ground, it is his world. Keep it standing, or learn fast.
